| Yoga Bio | I am a certified Anusara teacher and also an attorney. I completed a Masters Degree in Human Development in 2005 focusing on behavior, specifically melding yoga philosophy with Western behavioral psychology. As a result, I teach yoga philosophy, focusing on non-dualist Tantric philosophy, in addition to asana. I am also the author of the following: Finding the Midline How Yoga Helps a Trial Lawyer Make Friends and Connect to Spirit – a book covering the range of philosophy we learn in immersions and showing how to can enrich your life; A Manual for Wellbeing Using Yoga to Enrich Your Life. Both are available in print and e-book at Amazon, or visit my website: http://www.findingthemidline.com for information. |
| What do you love most about Anusara Yoga? | I love how Anusara yoga uniquely weaves messages of value to ourselves and others into instruction of precise alignment. |
| Why do you teach Anusara yoga? | I teach Anusara yoga because it is a vehicle for allowing me to share my gifts in a meaningful way. By “gifts” I include an ability to study and assimilate the beautiful empowering philosophy we study and then convey it in writing and in person. |
| Why do you license with Anusara? | It is important to me as a consumer to study reviews and pedigree of whatever I choose to invest my time and money in. This is how I feel about yoga. People have so many choices about how to invest their time and money in yoga, physical exercise, self-study, and in other ways. I’m very proud of Anusara licensing because it is a way of helping people appreciate the level of experience and training I offer. |
